Durga Puja

The euphoria, festivity, colours  and the flavours Durga Puja brings is rarely matched by any other occasion of the year. Durga Puja is the biggest religious festival for Bengali Hindus and the celebrations are not only limited within its religious boundaries, but is joyously celebrated with people of all religions and castes. Durga Puja in Dhaka is a unique affair in many ways. It is believed that in the ancient times, a demon called "Mahishasura."
